This whole thing is a terrible trap for the parents, and is a very good reason to try to find a baby-sitter to take care of the kids while the parents go do the shopping.
I’m pretty sure I would like to get an IPad but I’m keeping an open mind and am going to check out the competition as well. I want to handle all of the different tablets before I make my final choice. I guess it’s kind of like taking a new car out for a test drive before deciding which one to buy.
Most of my friends have the IPad but some of the guys at work are using some of the other tablets out there and convinced me to at least give them a try. I can’t wait to see what they all offer and what kind of package deals I might be able to get.
There are a variety of different options to choose from when it comes to wine wedding favors. You can offer wine stoppers in a shape that will compliment your theme. For example a star fish for a beach wedding or a snow flake for a winter wedding. I would love to see a double heart wine stopper myself.
Couples can give their guests personalized wine glasses The glasses can commemorate the special event with the names and date of the bridge and groom. Every time the glasses are used they will be reminded of the happy couple and the commitment they made.
Coasters are another option that can be elegant or simple. They come in both cork or glass and can add a touch of flair to your table depending on the design you choose. This option is also very functional and really who couldn’t use a nice set of coasters. These could make great gifts for people that elect not to drink wine or other alcoholic beverages.
There really is something for everyone when it comes to wine wedding favors. They also make great last minute additions to any wedding because there are so many flexible options.
A unity ceremony can be performed in multiple ways. A candle unity ceremony uses two tall tapered candles to represent the individuals. These candles are usually lit by the mothers of the bride and groom. The bride and groom then each take their respective candle and light a pillar candle known as the unity candle. The unity candle can be decorated with an inscription or monogram. It can also have a picture of the bridge and groom. Some couples keep their unity candles and relight them each year on their anniversaries.
The other way to perform a unity ceremony is to use sand. Instead of tapered candles the bride and groom use colored sand from individual containers. They pour the sand into one vessel that represents the union of the two into one body. Some couples elect to use classic black and white sand while others opt for colors that reflect the colors of the wedding theme. Often times a different color of sand will be used for each member of the family and everyone will pour sand into the vessel, this is especially true for unions involving children.
No matter which unity ceremony you decide to go with you can be sure to find candles or sand that will fit your wedding theme.
